Veronica Ibanez, MEd

As a therapist I value a strong therapeutic relationship as it will foster a more open discussion throughout sessions. Creating a relationship with a client and supporting them through life is something I identify with as part of my resolve. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children ages three to eighteen, as well as utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy, which can foster a positive and healthy environment. I am able to utilize and tailor different techniques based on my clients’ demographics and experiences.

I earned my Master's degree from Augusta University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I completed my internship experiences working at Child Enrichment and providing therapy to families that have experienced traumatic events or life-changing experiences. I understand how different difficult situations can affect everyone in different ways, and I am here to listen and adapt to your needs.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, including two cats, and I have recently taken up knitting.
