Leila Mohammadizadeh, LAPC
Associate Professional Counselor
I earned my Master’s in Counselor Education with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Augusta University. I am dedicated to helping clients navigate their thoughts, emotions, and challenges in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. My first and foremost goal will be creating a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood.
I offer individual counseling for adults and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, anger issues, and relationship challenges. I also support clients in exploring identity development, enhancing self-esteem, and pursuing personal growth.
My approach is geared toward helping you uncover the underlying patterns and experiences that shape your relationship with yourself and influence how you interpret and interact with people and the world around you. I integrate an existential perspective into our work by encouraging exploration of deeper questions about purpose, meaning, and values in a way that feels approachable and relevant to your life.
Together, we’ll explore what you can and cannot control and focus on creating a life aligned with your values. I look forward to the opportunity to help you sort through experiences and self-beliefs that can make you feel stuck and support your growth toward a meaningful sense of clarity, agency, and self-compassion.
Prior to my clinical work, I worked with mentoring programs for children, adolescents, and young adults from various cultural backgrounds and identities. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my cats and goats, cooking, and listening to audio books.
